Our family home is situated in a peaceful and idyllic part of the Swedish archipelago. We have been enjoying this home for many years and are now opening it up for you to enjoy. Our home is very popular with families and children, and one or more adults wanting to relax in the ever-restorative archipelago. The large forested lot welcomes you to a refreshing environment permeated by the sounds, vistas, and fragrances of the pristine natural landscape. There is only a short walk to the Baltic Sea water front or a hidden sweet-water swimming spot. There are lots of modern amenities nearby, such as a grocery store, one of Sweden`s best bakeries with healthy nouvelle cuisine daily specials, a paddle ball court, a pizzeria, and a full-service restaurant that promises an “experience of all the senses”. And, of course, the city of Stockholm itself is only a short drive away. Our home is well heated, including a cozy fireplace, and is suitable for get-away-stays all year round.
The kitchen is equipped with ample quantities of everything you need to enjoy your stay. We have all the kitchen hardware you might require including oven, kettle, pots, pans, ceramics, and cutlery. We also have some spices and olive oil for your use. We are confident you will feel at home here.

The bedrooms (one in the main house and one 20 meters in a separate and well-maintained bungalow) are warm and tastefully decorated. With brand new linen and comfortable beds, you will be sure to have a wonderful night`s sleep here.
You are most welcome to enjoy the barbecue and several outdoor seating areas to really inhale the fresh forest air, bask in the sunshine, and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal.
We make available the main house where two 90 cm wide beds are located (in the same room), and then the - oh so cute! - cottage with two large bunk beds, a large closet and a full-sized dresser.
Feel free to safely use the fireplace in the main house which makes it all the more
comfy on those cooler evenings! Be sure to bring along the firewood that you need.
This is a family home, parties are not allowed, and no smoking is permitted inside, nor
on the forested lot. Thank you for your understanding!
You have access to the entire home, and our beautiful, large forest lot. A path through the “Troll Forest” leads down to the waters of the Baltic Sea and the Swimming Island. A short walk on another forest path and gravel road takes you to the sweet-water lake. You have complete privacy during your stay. I am always available 24/7 if you have any questions.
I’m always available 24/7 by phone.
We have lots of gorgeous swimming spots, yummy restaurants and other places of interest in the area.
This house is well maintained and kept clean for you, and for our family when we stay here. There is cleaning equipment in the house and you are welcome to use it.
In Sweden it is common for everyone to take their outdoor shoes off when entering a home. Please also take your shoes off inside our house.
Only guests that have been included in the booking reservation are allowed on the property. This is important for us to know how many people will be staying, using the linen, and accessing the property.
The property has its own, deep well that provides clean and safe water from deep inside the mountain. The well water is tested regularly and is safe for all inside and domestic uses. Water from the sweet-water lake is piped in during the late spring to early fall months, and is used for all outdoor needs, including the “Viking Shower”.
As part of the off-grid experience, we kindly ask guests to practice water conservation to help maintain the well`s water supply. That means:
- Taking quick showers
- Turning off taps when not in use
If the well ever dries up during your stay, please avoid using any water to allow it time to refill. The pump won’t work if the well is empty, which would result in no water. If a certain amount of time has passed and there’s still no water, please contact me immediately.
You can leave the rubbish in the kitchen and we will remove it for you after you check out. There is a green rubbish bin near the driveway entrance that can take non-recycle items.
In Sweden, paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, and glass are all recyclable. Recycling is available near the ICA supermarket if you want to remove it when you leave, otherwise our cleaning team will recycle for you.
As mosquitos and ticks are prevalent in the archipelago and most forested
areas in Sweden, please be mindful and come prepared with bug spray for the summer.
- No parties at this property.
- No loud noise after 21.00.
- No smoking inside the house, and no smoking inside the property line. Please go for a walk if you have to smoke.
