Positive: location superb, in the centre of the Rostock at the edge of the old town, very atmospheric and safe. very quite location, steep stairs breakfast was great, good filter coffee as expected in Germany

Negative: communication via Booking.com app was very difficult and not satisfying, when I tried to email the accommodation, I did not always get replies in time. I needed to get access codes for late check in. the codes were sent eventually, but only about 2 hours before arrival, which left me feeling very unsure if everything was in place at the right time. I also had to ring twice to clarify arrangements for late check in and for breakfast early next morning. Not great. I'm not sure if the nault was with booking.com or the hostel staff.

Summary: Staff super friendly, great location, good value for money, clean, spacious, I would stay again
