## Emplacement
Le Cannet is an important municipality in the Alpes-Maritimes region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It takes place just two kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, bordering Cannes and Vallauris. Nicknamed the Madeira of France, it reveals a very beautiful panorama over the Lérins Islands off the coast.
Occupied since Roman times, the city of Le Cannet developed from the 15th century with the settlement of families coming from Italy at the request of the monks of Lérins.
