Positive: Accessible only through a 20-minute drive on dirt roads through oak tree groves, the eco-lodge is nestled within a biological reserve that is part of a vast renaturation project. One is greeted by a stunning variety of flora and fauna: rustic horses, terrapins, vultures, deer… who ask only to be respected in return. The lodge itself is simple, rustic yet very comfortable, with modern fittings and a nice little pool with a majestic view. The staff are lovely, they prepare us well for the arrival and are very welcoming, not letting the occasional language barrier get in the way. They also serve an amazing breakfast!

Negative: Some may find the drive there difficult, but for us it was part of the charm! Cell network may be unreliable though, since it is in a secluded part of the countryside.
