Watch for whales, sea lions, and busy shore birds, or just beachcomb for agates and shells on your trek. To the south, check out Battery Point Lighthouse and Park, a great place to toss the Frisbee and watch the fishing boats bringing in their catch of the day. There are also restaurants that you can walk to including a family-owned pizza parlor and a Thai restaurant. Annual Crescent City events include the Del Norte County Spring Fair and the Sea Cruise Car Show which is held each October over Columbus Day weekend.
