Negative: Having a rating of 8.8 we thought it would be a great apartment, so we had high expectations. Everything was OK, but not 8.8, it needs a refurb because it's tired, the beds were ok, but clearly secondhand sheets, duvets and towels. The kitchen had a few old utensils, two pans which were unusable, one with peeling nonstick film, the other covered with limescale. The washing-up sponge and scourer were worn out and smelt bad, so we bought new ones. In my bedroom there was a build up of dust between the bed and the wall, but you couldn't get to it with the vacuum as it seemed the bed was fixed on place. The window blinds were bent and broken. Sorry to be so negative, but you have kept asking for a review. They're not major issues, but for a 8.8 excellent rating, were unexpected. Had I realised, I would have paid a bit more and gone back to the hotel I stayed in on my previous visit to Jaén.
