The property is part of a traditional family home that has been lovingly adapted for guests, offering not just a place to sleep, but a glimpse into authentic Balinese life. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with warmth and kindness. There was a small mix-up with my check-in date, but the host handled it so graciously, quickly preparing the room and even offering a complimentary breakfast the next day as an apology. This is where the charm of a true family-run place shines — it’s personal, caring, and heartfelt. Breakfast was a highlight — I was served a beautiful Traditional Balinese Nasi Kuning (yellow rice with chicken, egg, tempeh manis, veggies, and sambal) along with a selection of colorful Balinese desserts topped with fresh coconut and palm sugar. Everything was homemade, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The property itself is enchanting — lush gardens, traditional wooden structures, hand-carved details, and statues that make you feel as though you’ve stepped into a serene village.
