Welcome to Our Happy Hideaway, a family-friendly Disney-themed 3 bedroom/2 bath condo at beautiful Bahama Bay Resort. Over 1600 sq ft of living space with graceful, vaulted ceilings give this space an inviting open-air feel, while tasteful Disney theming adds fun to your family vacation. Just around the corner is one of the resort's 4 pools which includes a lovely water view. Within easy walking distance is the large splash pad, which is perfect for little ones and has plenty of shady seating. Just steps away from our unit is the playground and a grilling area with picnic table for those family barbecues.
A fully stocked kitchen gives way to easy meal prep and the open concept space allows the whole family to be together. Kid-friendly dishes and a highchair help make family meals a breeze. There is plenty of seating at the dining room table and breakfast bar, or enjoy meals out on the peaceful screened-in balcony. Later, relax in the family room while enjoying a movie on the large-screen smart tv.
Busy day at the parks? Rest easy in our private, comfortable bedrooms. The grand master suite features a king-sized bed, balcony access, and large bathroom with double vanities, a soaker tub and walk-in shower. Across the unit lies a calming guest bedroom with queen-sized bed, beautiful natural views and a private balcony perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. The second guest room features two cozy single beds and an adorable tent perfect for reading or playtime. The guest bathroom also features double vanities, a soaker tub and walk-in shower. A baby bath and Pack 'n Play is included for your convenience. Each bedroom includes a television.
Bahama Bay Beach Resort & Spa is a gated resort community on the shores of Lake Davenport. It is beautifully landscaped and offers a tropical feel with nature trails, a dock and white sand beach with shaded lounge chairs. It has 4 pools and hot tubs, sports courts, and the Cenote Day Spa. Tradewinds Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, plus a bar with pool tables and a lake view. There is also an electric vehicle charging station.
The resort location is within easy driving distance of Orlando's top attractions. Arrive at Walt Disney World in only 15-20 minutes by car. SeaWorld is about a 25-minute drive, and Universal Studios is 30 minutes away. Also within easy reach is Disney's water parks, Disney's Boardwalk, Disney Springs, and the Vineland Premium Outlets. Take a day trip to one of Central Florida's famous beaches in just over an hour. Within a 2-minute drive is the Berry Town Center, with a Publix grocery store and pharmacy, and many take-out food choices.
